Ban Bossy
Exciting new campaign to get pumped about
Introducing Operation - Ban Bossy
To check out the campaign go to http://banbossy.com/ for more information
Baaaaaasically
A few months back I discovered the new Pantene advert, which deals with 2 sides of the story, it begins with a male and a female in each section who are in the same situation. Ways in which the man is called to the woman shows the difference to how women are treated in the work place
Check it out here http://youtu.be/B8gz-jxjCmg
It got me thinking about the labels and the prejudice of women in business- or any work for that matter!
So i did some research and discovered a month back the BAN BOSSY campaign, today my friends noticed it and told me about it, I realised it was becoming bigger!
Then BIG stars like Beyonce got on board and wooooosh all of a sudden everywhere I look is ban bossy
A fascinating campaign :)
But. Will it last? Will it have an impact? Will we ever have true equality in the work place? Tell me what you think

Unheard cry for help?
I have recently discovered the amount of cyber bulling 'help' videos circling YouTube.
With recent news stories about children as young as 12 committing suicide due to physical, emotional and cyber bullying, it is heart-breaking to hear so many of these people asked for help on social sites such as tumblr, and dominantly YouTube.
Were these videos enough to support these people?
Would this be the right way to ask for help?
What do you think?
Check out a short film I created for this subject-

a PREGNANT woman in PUBLIC - FAIL- Oscars 2014
So I'm guessing most people watched or heard the news of the Oscars this year
Sitting under a roof was an enormous room full of very talent people.
Some amazing films were created this year by very amazing people
I was glad to see 12 years a slave win an award, a historical realistic film that was able to capture the true sadness of slavery in the 19th century.
However, some of the media coverage of the event seemed to bug me

A pregnant woman..... socialising?!.......outdoors!?.......
What an EPIC FAIL
How could the mirror.co.uk honestly post something like this. For a woman especially to write something to disgracing to one of the most beautiful and honourable things possibly to write it off as not even a fail but AN EPIC fail is disgusting. Rebecca Pocklington needs a good look at herself in the mirror ( hehe ) before slamming another woman for stepping outside her house whilst pregnant.
Is "showing us a whole lot of pregnant belly" really an epic fail?
All I can say is my heart goes out to Elsa Patasky for receiving this sort of media shit whilst pregnant, my best goes out to her throughout her pregnancy.
What are your thoughts on this?
Should women be allowed to (*gasp*) step outside into the "big scary world" whilst pregnant?
